1996-1997 Director of R&D and corporate pilot, Cybermation Inc., contracted for software development management as part of the senior managment team. Served as one of their corporate pilots for IFR flying within Canada and the US. Occasionally did flight planning and test flying for the company's Cessna 340A.
1995-1996 2 Wing Operations Officer, Reserve Pilot, Canadian Forces, responsible for the day to day flight operations planning and execution for 400 Training Squadron and 411 Tactical Squadron CFB Downsview, Ontario. Managed a fleet of 11 CH-136, (Bell 206) helicopters and directed flight operations, crew scheduling and reporting for the reserve Wing, reporting to the Wing Commander. Rewrote the 2 Wing Flying Orders, designed and tested a GPS device for operational use and planned RCMP/2 Wing operational cooperation.
1993-1994 Special Projects Manager, Spar Aerospace, New Ventures & Technology, CATS Prgm, Recognised potential use of space training technology for commercial applications in medical and institutional education in Aug '91. Prepared complete office administration, HR and facilities plan for a spin-off training development operation. Negotiated and planned a facilities blueprint for a new office space and development facility with a staff of 18 including budget, cost and schedule, and position descriptions.

1983-1985 Flight Commander - Light Observation Helicopter (LOH) Flight, 403 Squadron, Gagetown NB. Operational flying instructor for tactical helicopter operations including ground vehicle support, night, IFR, navigation, float and weapons training. This was a 7 day a week, equipment and facilities scheduling problem.

1982-1983 Deputy Flight Commander - Tactical Flying Instructor, Sqn Flt Safety Officer, CH-136 Kiowa. Designed and tested an IFR flying hoods for CH-136 and CH-135 Twin Huey instrument training.

1977-1980 NORAD Contact for Shuttle Operations, NORAD Officer, responsible for coordinating the operational flight test phase of the shuttle spacecraft. Satellite signature analyst, radar/optical space intelligence.

1976-1977 Aerospace Systems Course - 1 year course in engineering analysis and project management.

1973-1976 Operational Flying CH136 Kiowa, 444 Sqn Germany, including C&L, Forward Air Controller,

Officer of the Order of Military Merit, Canada's 5th highest military award for outstanding career performance, presented by the Governor General of Canada in June 88 at the rank of Major, rarely awarded below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
The Canadian Civil Service Award of Merit and $1000 in 1977, tactical flying helmet design.

Astronaut Candidate, Canadian Astronaut Program, one of the first 4 candidates to be interviewed and one of 68 quarter finalists selected out of over 4000 applicants April-December 1983.
Spokesperson COSMOS 954 - Canadian analyst who prepared and delivered the official NORAD response to the reentry of this Soviet nuclear powered satellite into Baker Lake in NWT, Canada 1978.
Helmet Design - Designed , built and tested the first NBCW flying helmet for Canadian Forces pilots 1974-76.
